Affordable Housing Project for Growing Suburbs in Queensland

As a leading social infrastructure developer and investor, Tetris Capital brings significant expertise to supporting the delivery of 483 affordable homes across four growing Queensland suburbs—Burpengary East, Jimboomba, Logan Reserve, and Joyner.

The homes will be supported by the Queensland Government’s signature $2 billion Housing Investment Fund. The homes seek to improve housing affordability and reduce rental stress in Queensland’s growing suburbs.

The spacious, low maintenance 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom homes will each include private backyards and garages to meet the needs of families and individuals seeking suburban lifestyles.

A significant portion of the homes feature dual-key configurations, allowing for flexible living that can accommodate families with young children as well as couples and singles.

The homes will be located close to established services such as education, childcare, health centres, shopping villages, social services and public transport.

The homes will be delivered by Everyone’s Place, a consortium consisting of Tetris Capital (Lead Proponent and Financial Advisor), EveryOne Homes (a division of Metricon, Design and Construction Contractor), KDL Property Group (Land Developer), National Affordable Housing (CHP/Operator) and ANZ (Financier).

Stephen McDonough Principal at Tetris Capital said: "We are proud to establish and be a part of the consortium, Everyone’s Place, as we collectively seek to create vibrant spaces where everyone feels at home. With our partners we are excited about this innovative approach to housing Queenslanders.”

Construction will be completed in stages, with works commencing in October 2024. First tenants are expected to be welcomed in mid-2025 with the final home anticipated to be complete by mid-2027. The project will be built across 291 lots, offering a variety of housing options designed to meet the demand for affordable family housing in key growth areas within Queensland.

Following the recent announcement of the development of Queensland’s largest social and affordable housing precinct in Cairns, Tetris Capital is committed to delivering multiple housing developments within Australia
